Folding Stage
This was a B-Tech engineering Project in which we had to design a Foldable Stage. This started as a conceptual design but as time went on, we created the first prototype and it was a success. The biggest outcome of the design is that we ca arrange as many foldable stage modules to cover as large as the client wants.
PET-Bottle Shredder Machine
This was a project we collaborated with a college. They wanted a PET-Bottle Shredder for their college, but should me small and easy to handle. Final design took almost 7 months and we were also part of building prototype and now its installed inside their college premises.
Conceptual Drone Design
This was a drone project which we worked along with 4 B-Tech Students. They had a conceptual design of drone.
What is Concept Design?
Concept design is the initial phase of the design process where the core ideas and vision for a product are developed. It involves creating preliminary sketches, models, or prototypes that convey the fundamental elements and aesthetics of the final product. This stage focuses on exploring various design possibilities and refining the concept to ensure it meets user needs and business objectives. Key aspects of concept design include:
Innovation: Generating new and creative ideas that push the boundaries of existing designs.
Feasibility: Assessing whether the concept is practical and can be realized within budget and technical constraints.
User-Centric Approach: Ensuring the design addresses the needs, preferences, and behaviors of the target audience.
Aesthetics: Establishing the visual appeal and style of the product.
Functionality: Ensuring the design serves its intended purpose effectively and efficiently.
Overall, concept design sets the foundation for the detailed design and development stages, guiding the project towards a successful and innovative outcome.
Product Designing
Product designing is a crucial phase where the detailed design and specifications of the product are developed. This stage involves creating detailed drawings, CAD models, and prototypes to refine the product's design. It ensures that the product is both aesthetically pleasing and functional, meeting all user requirements and technical specifications. Key activities in product designing include:
Detailed Sketching: Creating intricate sketches and drawings that detail the product's design.
3D Modeling: Developing CAD models to visualize the product in three dimensions.
Prototyping: Building physical or digital prototypes to test the design.
User Testing: Gathering feedback from potential users to refine the design.
Material Selection: Choosing appropriate materials to ensure durability and cost-effectiveness.
Ergonomics: Ensuring the product is comfortable and easy to use.
This stage is essential for translating the initial concept into a tangible product that can be manufactured and brought to market successfully.
